​ Happy Cat Pilates began in Colorado where Susie ran a successful studio with multiple teachers, classes and equipment for almost 10 years.  Following her husband to the University of Arizona in 2017, Susie saw an opportunity to reinvent the studio.  Having experienced the benefits of individual attention she decided to offer private instruction only. This formula has been so successful, Susie will continue to teach one on one, reserving her attention to one person at a time.

The Studio Space

The studio is now in it's third iteration! Following it's success in Colorado and Arizona, Happy Cat Pilates has arrived in California. It is conveniently located within walking distance of In-Motion Fitness in Chico.  In a newly renovated space, the studio is located in a quiet neighborhood offering private instruction in a garden setting.  Free on street parking is available.

Susie has been teaching Pilates since 2005. In addition to the original 800 hour certification, Susie completed a Master's Program in 2009 and the Advanced Teacher Training Program in 2020 through The Pilates Center of Boulder. She is recently licensed as a Host Advisor, offering teacher training through The Pilates Center of Boulder.
